I am a woman over 40. I have had to watch my weight since the birth of my first child, but as I go older my diet needs changed. I followed a low carb diet early on but as I aged some of the things I was eating on my low carb diet like higher proteins caused me to actually gain weight but as I shifted my focus on High fats and moderate protein and very low carbs I was able to start losing again and maintaining a lot better.
